Informally dubbed "Pebble Beach South" following its 2011 debut, the San Marino Motor Classic promises a strong sophomore showing when the Lacy Park lawns fill with classic cars on June 12, 2012.

An offshoot of the late Los Angeles Concours, the San Marino Motor Classic highlights an eclectic variety of collectible cars from brass-era oddities to woodies, hot rods, and European sports cars, offering a regional Southern California alternative for auto loving fans.

Organizer Aaron Weiss anticipates a field of around 220 cars, including vehicles from The Nethercutt Collection and the Peter Mullin Automotive Museum. Proceeds will benefit the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA, and the Rotary Club of San Marino.
