Welcome again to Video Game Crafts ?N Gear! We have varied mix of retro and modern for you this week, from the timeless Final Fantasy VII to the new popular mobile hit Angry Birds. We?ll also be delving into beverages and cosplay for the first time. Let?s get started!
Angry Birds Soda
With the Angry Birds games constantly breaking records on the mobile market, it may not surprise you to hear that the soda brand is pretty popular. It may astound you, however, to learn that this stuff has over-taken both Coca-Cola and Pepsi in terms of sales in Finland. Yep, the two largest fizzy drink companies in the world. Just let that settle in for a moment.
Unfortunately these are only currently available in Finland, but?Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka has stated that the soda will make its way to Australia and New Zealand in the near future. Don?t be surprised if you see it come to US and UK too.

NES Controller Shop Sign
With the high amount of video game retailers, both physical stores and online, you?ll need something eye-catching and attractive to convince customers to choose your stores. Whatever shop this is, I?m sure it?s doing just that.
This detailed and accurate model of a NES controller is a hanging shop sign. Sadly, there is no information as to the whereabouts or the shop name. Unless you know a nearby ?Bella Hair Studio??

Retro Cloud Strife Cosplay
Here is Cloud Strife, in the way that he should be presented! This cosplayer has stayed true to the original, pixelated PlayStation model of Final Fantasy VII?s heroic protoganist. Complete with disproportionate arms, sharp edges and flat hands, I wouldn?t have it any other way.
It?s fantastic to see someone not choose the obvious route of taking Cloud?s anime-style appearance from the CG movie Advent Children, or just create the iconic spiky hair and call it a day. It even has pixelated eyebrows! Whoever you are, mysterious cosplayer, you have my utmost respect.
