NCSA works in collaboration with partners across the country to empower consumers, schools, businesses and government agencies to stay safe online during NCSAM and throughout the rest of the year.
"We are thrilled to provide everyone around the world an opportunity to view and observe the official National Cyber Security Awareness Month kick-off through Facebook Live," said Michael Kaiser, executive director of the National Cyber Security Alliance. "As we continue to increasingly rely on the Internet, we all have a responsibility to protect that resource. We're thankful that our partnership with Facebook gives users the opportunity to join the discussion and learn how to protect themselves with safe and secure online behaviors."
"As people continue to integrate the Internet into their daily lives, it becomes increasingly important that everyone has the basic knowledge to protect themselves and keep the Internet secure," said Joe Sullivan, chief security officer of Facebook. "We are excited about the opportunity to participate in National Cyber Security Awareness Month and to bring this important conversation to audiences around the world. We encourage all Facebook users to learn more about how they can keep their accounts and data safe."
