The owners of this Lagrange County lake home wanted to update their deck to add shade to their outdoor living space, improve the functional layout, create a larger patio area and reduce maintenance requirements.? 
The wanted to accomplish all of this, without detracting from their great views, and the look of their home from the lake.
We developed a deck design that created areas for relaxing and for dining. The homeowners chose TimberTech XLM in Sandridge, with TimberTech RadianceRail with Deckorator balusters.? They added TimberTech 12V LED post lights in the dining area and riser lights in the flared stair risers.? The Sandridge color complimented the house color and the black Deckorator balusters minimized the obstructions to their view from the deck.
A new Belgard Dublin Cobble interlocking concrete paver patio area was created that gave them additional outdoor living space, closer to the lake.? The earth tone colors complimented the new deck and the surroundings.
A new vinyl pergola provided shade for the west side of the deck.? Shade was also provided for the new patio area with a matching vinyl pergola over that area.? The pergolas were placed at two levels to compliment the style of the house.
We accomplished what we set out to achieve.? The 3D renderings we developed for them allowed them to visualize the final product and there were no surprises.? The homeowners are very happy with the results and look forward to many years of carefree enjoyment at the lake.
